An Atheists Christmas

Why is it that whenever a popular, yet, completely irrational and without the shadow of a doubt dangerous religion comes under simple questioning the religious right loses their minds? Is it perhaps their fear of the unknown which created the system in the first place? Are the thinkers digging at old wounds? Or is it something more simple, like a bunch of drooling sheep packed into a corner of a dark room trying to find the nearest exit. I can tell you this, the exit cannot be found with a criss-cross of wood. One would have more luck if it were on fire.

This is far from unusual and hardly schocking unless you live in a place were different religions & belief systems are tolerated because in North America, non-mainstream religions are frowned upon. This is not arguable, this is fact. A disturbing one to say the least.

In many areas of Western Europe the Athiesm/Agnostic rate is around 50%. In America it is less than %10. Does this not suggest something? It is up to you to decide if you want to be free.
