For people who view the blog, I must apologise for its lack of worth. Up until now I sort of just 'claimed' it as my own and have hardly done anything with it. I promise you this, I have finished my new work and once it is ready to be seen, this blog along with all of my other online presence will be significantly improved. I need as many places as possible to be seen in case the fascists try to silence me. You'll see what I mean when the video comes out, it explains everything and absolutely helps nothing at the same time. I [love/hate] [it/you], pure nihilism...or is it constructive criticism? No, more like destructive.

It is called the Prima-Donna's, it is a set of 4 paintings I have set out and plastered for nearly a year. Because the general public, like myself, has the attention span of a fly - I have decided to entertain in more ways than one. Footage that is not my own and footage that is my own, and an audio track that is certainly from the deepest depths of hell. I hope it is as good for you as it is for me. According to the American Religious Identification Survey, almost ALL religious denominations of been decreasing over the past 18 years. Just released today, the ARIS states that 15% of American now do not identify themselves with any religion. This is up from 8% back in 1990.

What brilliant news! I come from a country where people are not segregated, shunned or murdered for their religious or lack of religious beliefs. That’s right, I can walk down the street with a ‘Jesus Is a Cunt’ t-shirt and no one will try to burn me alive.

It appears America (made in China) is becoming internally liberated to another degree. Then again, only time will tell.

And save yourself time by not sending me harassing, embarrassing, and ignorant messages. Because, even if I was wrong (which is highly unlikely) I would rather reign in hell than serve in heaven. Why? Because, everyone I know will be there, including YOU.

Beheading Suspect - Not criminally responsible?

Since this is big news where I currently am (unfortunately) residing. I thought I would make a quick, educated comment.“A two-day Winnipeg trial in a case of killing and beheading on a Greyhound bus ended Wednesday with both sides seeking the same verdict — not criminally responsible by reason of mental disorder.” CBC.ca According to the report, psychiatrists for the Crown and the defence both agree that Vince Li was suffering from schizophrenia at the time of the murder and most likely weeks before, making him unaware of his actions. Li believed he was being told by God to kill McLean who was a ‘force of evil’.

Let me explain, justice is “A state of affairs in which conduct or action is both fair and right, given the circumstances.” – Duhaime Legal Dictionary. Therefore, in this case under these extreme circumstances, the Crown and defence lawyers are asking for Li to be found not criminally responsible due to mental illness. These kinds of verdicts (Judge will make his decision tomorrow morning) are not handed out like candy. It is not in the best interest of anyone to do so. After proper evaluation, it was found the Li did indeed meet the proper criteria to be found not criminally responsible. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia and at the time of the murder was enduring severe auditory hallucinations.

Of course, there are a bunch of imbeciles in an uproar shouting “justice hasn’t been served!” (Cite above paragraph if you believe it hasn’t). The crime was heinous and despicable in every sense of the word, yes, but what some people are after is revenge, not justice. Unfortunately for them, we don’t live in a totalitarian state. If found not guilty tomorrow by reason of mental disorder, Li will not enter back into society. Instead of being sent to a prison, he will be placed into a provincial psychiatric facility. The victim’s family has been rightfully lobbying for changes in the Criminal Code that would prevent a person from re-entering society who has been found not guilty by reason of mental disorder. If anyone understands mental illness to this severity, they will see the Criminal Code NEEDS a severe change.

Will Li ever re-enter society? The answer is most likely yes at some point down the line. Those who live in Manitoba have seen the holes in the legal system. This would be one of many changes that are needed to be made. He is still guilty (in a sense) but not criminally. For the first time in…many, many years a trail in Winnipeg may have actually come to a sensible end (but, we’ll see). Li needs to be not in a prison, but a mental institution for life. If this ends appropriately, perhaps the Winnipeg police force and the provincial government will start to smarten up and deal with the city’s problems full on (though, this did take place outside of Winnipeg) They [Winnipeg] have lots of them, is murder capital of Canada really something to be proud of? I didn’t think so, do your fucking jobs. That’s what our tax money goes to. Thankfully for my sanity, I’m leaving this hellhole.

Why is it that whenever a popular, yet, completely irrational and without the shadow of a doubt dangerous religion comes under simple questioning the religious right loses their minds? Is it perhaps their fear of the unknown which created the system in the first place? Are the thinkers digging at old wounds? Or is it something more simple, like a bunch of drooling sheep packed into a corner of a dark room trying to find the nearest exit. I can tell you this, the exit cannot be found with a criss-cross of wood. One would have more luck if it were on fire.

This is far from unusual and hardly schocking unless you live in a place were different religions & belief systems are tolerated because in North America, non-mainstream religions are frowned upon. This is not arguable, this is fact. A disturbing one to say the least.

In many areas of Western Europe the Athiesm/Agnostic rate is around 50%. In America it is less than %10. Does this not suggest something? It is up to you to decide if you want to be free.

For hundreds of years, unfortunate ones have been murdered in the name of God. In 2005 a nun in eastern Romania was crucified by her priest after he believed she came under the possession of the Devil. After being deprived of food and water for 4 days, Sister Irina was gagged and chained to a cross where eventually her body could take no more and she faded away. She was indeed possessed, but not by the 'Devil' but by her own mind. Sister Irina had schizophrenia.
The complete lack of emotion and regret from the fellow nuns and priests shows exactly how destructive, powerful & control this type of blind faith is.

Salo - The Reflection of You

I saw a film last night..the adaptation of Marquis du Sade's 120 Days of Sodom molded into fascist Italy in 1944.The importance of the original novel being written in 1785 is great. It was and still is a true reflection of humanity. Politics, religion, sex and social dynamics. Is that why the film cannot be bought off of a shelf? Nor can it be played in theaters, and is that really why it is banned in some parts of the world? Do we not like to see ourselves as we really and truely are? That appears to be the case.

In THE AGE OF BLAME we sometimes forget what we are. Those of you who point are not original, you are not poets, you are not you. Teen angst now comes in a box from Wal-Mart at Christmas. Many true and real ideas have become laced with improper antics and ignorance that they in turn destroy themselves. It is a shame and they will be forgotten.

There is a lot more to this story but I can assure you I am not the one who sits and dreams, dreams are forgotten.

Arguably one of the most bizarre unsolved murder cases in American history, The Black Dahlia. The condition of her remains amplifies the absolute brutality and ruthlessness of some people. Remember, this happened in 1947 and who ever is saying "times have become more violent" clearly hasn't heard of the crusades. Times have not become more violent, times have become more televised. In turn it is feeding the fear that so many people seem to have, do you sleep with a gun under your pillow?

I have been working a lot on new projects, possible collaborations with other artists & portfolio additions.
I believe I have reached a point where I have totally outgrown most of the people around me, its strange. I am ready to move on & in fact I am looking forward to it intensely...
Change is crucial! Without it one would never grow, and I find it strange that many people seem to avoid it. Well that is their decision I guess and I don't want to go out of my way to help those people who don't want it.
I have become a hermit in the past few months..but I work nonstop. My art is first, people are second. This city has me in the shits, there is nothing here for me. People generally say that because they're just fucking lazy and are looking for excuses, but for me that clearly isn't that case considering from the moment I wake if I am not drawing, painting, networking or advertising I am thinking of different ways to do so.
